A picture to inspire the imagination. To my mind sprange the image of a wee person looking from their fields of flowers and delight at the place the humans come and go from, and the wee ones wonder what the humans get up to in there. Thanks. Hugs

There would and indeed are Buttercups in there Carmen, well spotted! I love them myself, these are the taller ones, but the rest of the field is covered in low lying Buttercups and Daisies too. Gorgeous wild flowers.

That’s quite a nice shot of that building with a big chimney thing in the background. However, I suggest you get a telephoto lens or stop being so lazy and get closer, it doesn’t look that far away.
But, eh? for effort, all the same. Well done.

Gorgeous depth to that shot… okay, you didn’t quite capture the Nac Mac Feegle but you can tell they’re there (if not up on the NMF, Ark can explain—he loves Terry Pratchett’s works too …)

‘Oh, ‘tis you, izzut?’ said Rob Anybody, glaring up at the Queen. ‘Face to face wi’ ye at last, ye bloustie ol’ callyack that ye are! Ye canna’ come here, unnerstand? Be off wi’ ye! Are ye goin’ to go quietly?’
The Queen stamped heavily on him. When she took her foot away, only the top of his head was visible above the turf.
‘Well, are ye?’ he said, pulling himself out as if nothing had happened.’
That part always has me laughing, hehehehe.
You’re safe enough Argus. For now.

Well Tubularsock has been known to have a way with photos. So as a specialist Tubularsock loves the shocking statement made by your work, Esmeralda.
The background smokestack is industry “flipping off” nature!
Not a very healthy picture for children for sure.

Oh no, it can still be made quite wonderfully with something called ‘Aquafaba’, it acts just like egg whites and fluffs up the mouse and all manner of food perfectly –

The lassi sounds nice too mind you, non-dairy of course, laughs. I’ve been a vegan for twenty years dear Meeka you see beams

Heh. There are literally thousands of recipes for gorgeous vegan cakes. I go to a cake bake meet up where everyone brings their own desserts and cakes and they’re all vegan. The replacements for egg are like this –
http://www.thekitchn.com/5-vegan-substitutes-for-eggs-in-baking-tips-from-the-kitchn-136591
I don’t even need to make pastry for pies either as almost all the ready frozen pastry in supermarkets is vegan. Once you get your head round it, it’s so simple, and I can assure you my cakes have been voted as some of the best your average carnivore have ever had, which I’m rather proud of – beams. – You can buy lots of cream that isn’t animal based like oat cream, and soya cream and they are good enough fool my mother taste-wise, which is saying something. I think it probably depends on where you live as to how much you know about such things and where I am there are many, many places you can buy all types of food that are vegan alternatives to animal based ones. I know people sometimes get confused as to why vegans don’t eat eggs and the main one for me is the billions of male chicks who get killed, really rather unpleasantly killed, in the egg and dairy industry. I don’t judge mind you, each to his or her own, but I think it helps to explain sometimes. I seen a nutritionist regualry at the hospital (ongoing health issue) and get all my vitamins etc, and as I can do that and live healthily I don’t need to involve animals in the process. – shrugs and smiles. I’m an awesome cook mind you, which helps – winks.
I was thinking more wee little cakes for the cinema, rather than big sloppy ones, but on reflection maybe some popcorn would suffice – laughs

I just checked out that site and one alternative made my jaw drop – baking soda and vinegar! I actually use soda and vinegar to clean things. I know it fizzes like crazy for a few seconds but I can’t work out how it would replace beaten egg white in recipes as a ‘raiser’?
Just quietly, I’m a pretty good cook as well so I’d love to learn a bit more. Would you share a favourite recipe?

This will sound quite mad, but I don’t actually use recipes like a normal person; I look a few and then adapt and ad things as I go along and taste, and then end up with a great thing! But I don’t know any quantities hahahaha. It’s awful really, because people who eat them do ask for the recipe and I should get my act together there, but the best recipes I’ve ever found and beggared about with are in this book –
Vegan cup cakes Take over the World. Cracking stuff. But really if you just randomly google things like ‘the best vegan chocolate cake’ any of the recipes will work well. And, you can safely eat the cake batter too! Hahahahaha. Vinegar and bicarbonate of soda are a wonder together aren’t they?! I use them for cleaning too.
This is a basic lovely sponge recipe that I’ve adapted a few times by adding coco powder or chocolate chips.
