As of today I  have 600 people following me.

Popping out to the off licence I can’t move for the screaming hordes. 600 is a manageable crowd but needs significantly more butties making for the annual Cloud Dodgy Disco than 200, so perhaps a vat of stew from now on.

600 BC occurred 2,621 years ago from 2022, but only due to Jesus. Time is all relative, however, 600 relatives wanting birthday cards seems a bit much.

Historical events from 600 BC:

Pope Gregory the Great decrees saying “God bless You” is the correct response to a sneeze.  – Where would we be without these life-saving measures I ask you?

Smyrna is sacked. –  The business with the office photocopier and marmalade could not pass unnoticed.

Nebuchadnezzar II built the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.  – Quite the swinger I believe.

Thales of Miletus was high in the charts – “We live not, in reality, on the summit of a solid earth but at the bottom of an ocean of air.”

Euripides, wrote – “[Diontsos]. Swoony type, long hair, bedroom eyes, cheeks like wine.”― The Bacchae –  We’ve all met one.

“Nōlī turbāre circulōs meōs!” is a Latin phrase, meaning “Do not disturb my circles!”. It is said to have been uttered by Archimedes—in reference to a geometric figure he had outlined on the sand—when he was confronted by a Roman soldier during the Siege of Syracuse, he was killed straight afterwards. –  The dangers of OCD stretch back many a moon

“If you are depressed you are living in the past.
If you are anxious you are living in the future.
If you are at peace you are living in the present.”
― Lao Tzu – Paraphrased after hearing Esme say to him – ‘Chill sweet cheeks.’

Thank you all ye faithful and non-faithful but pop in once every six months for  cuppa.

You are beloved.
