Oooooh, I adore them! You clever thing, you!
If you want to turn a bob, think urns. A friend of mine (Laura) from the blogging world is a potter, and the world can’t get enough of her urns. Wonderful person. She gave a home to the chicken who wouldn’t die, Rufina. I have a huge photo and a real feather from Rufina framed on my wall.
Here’s the link:

Thank you John! twirls showing her coat of many Jack of many arts coat with pleasure.
Loving the urns and I’ve been considering making some for a while now, they are on the list. It’s a great honour to create such a vessel, and I am also loving ‘the chicken who wouldn’t die’ Rufina ❤ Man after my own heart there (not because I have feathers).

Goodness, Esme, it looks like you’ve been capturing essence of rainbow in some of your glazes. Brilliant. But potting on a cloud, sounds like stepping into quantum realms to me. Am hopping over to Etsy now.

Few rocky years behind me, 2025 has been a re-awakening, thankfully. Clay started it all though I’d have to say.

Clay can do that to a soul.
We lost a dear friend several years ago, he was absorbed by the clay…
Please have a look at this exhibit of the works of Jim Kemp here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cIkVt73wJs
I think you will enjoy the show – I strolled through this gallery on the day Toby Kemp shot this video.

By the Gods the skill of construction alone of those pieces is something else, but the colours! Yes, really beautiful work, I see all pottery from the inside now, if you get me? Every hand crafted plate, sculpture, mug, I’m in the clay watching it unfold, admiring the various skills. Thank you for that, I’m sorry you lost him, he was a superb artist. Xx

You’ve bought a set of Moffs! Ha! Thank you so very much, they shall wing their way to you as fast as such things can wing from the UK to the moon. 😉 Hahahahaha, more thanks, very kind of you, I want all the pieces to go to beloved homes, my Moffs in particular! Xx

Oh My God! Esme, these are superb! I particularly love your ‘moths’. I had to look twice to confirm that they really were ceramic. I don’t know if you plan on selling any of these creations, but I’d bet anything your moths would sell like hotcakes!

Thank you! And it’s funny you should mention them because I have just sold a set, I have a shop, it’s through the links on the names of the pieces. It’s called Natural Oblivion. My aim was to share my joy not have people feel was I was pushing them to buy, which would be horrible, but as it turned out I have had two of my lovely bloggers make purchases up to now which is fabulous. I’ve already got photos of one piece in situ! I have to make the overseas shipping very expensive because for anything that isn’t very small because indeed it costs around twenty five to thirty quid for that alone, however that’s also because I have to generalise where someone lives in advance, if I actually know them I can check the postage ahead of time with their address. In no way am I saying this to push you to buy anything though, it’s just as it is and I may as well add it here in the comments as an aside. If you get me. she said falling about. Anyway, thank you again, I have many more pieces I need to list, but am caught up in the book again so it’s slow going, however, the encouragement I’ve had on here has given me a boost I must admit.

Hah! I’m so pleased for you. 😀 And yes, sadly I know exactly how expensive shipping is, especially to Australia. That’s part of the reason I started buying ebooks way back when. -hugs-
