Whilst most people know of Banksy, David Walker is another artist who creates the fine art upon the streets with spray paint. Below are some of his beautiful pictures, there’s something quite heart-rending about them; the backgrounds are hard, cold and unresponsive, then along he comes and transforms them to gentle, vulnerable things. The faces are often melancholy, the spray making tears, eyes downcast or gazing out full of emotion, and the colours work perfectly . I very much like them. And I like that everyone can see and enjoy them too.

Thanks for sharing sonmicloud. David Walker’s choice of using faces as the subject makes each of these into powerful paintings. I really like how the emotion is so beautifully drawn out with the more subtle expressions. We can’t help but wonder what the subjects are thinking about when we look at them..

Your are most welcome Dale. They make their own music to me, if that makes any sense? He’s created depth here in more ways than one. I’m glad you enjoyed them 🙂 – sonmicloud
