Yes, Peter does well at hitting the nail on the head I find. Stuffing, I do like a good stuffing actually. Here on the Cloud every vegetable under the sun (barring celery, cauliflower, sprouts and kale), is roasted with garlic, and served with plenty of gravy and enough ‘kind’ sausages to put one on a par with the Pillsbury Doughboy on Christmas Day so ‘stuffed’ is just how I feel. smiles.
Garlic, of course. It is a foundation of noble savory cuisine. Causing everything that touches it to pay homage in flavor. Add whatever else one pleases. Delicious. Too, sauteed pearls of onion, coupled with golden-glazed nuggets of cabbage, these present a gem-studded filling suitable for a King’s feast. (Hopefully not at the expense of another sentient, life). Cloud optional.
PS ~ Aside from making your comment box my own personal playground, I want to say that in my (sometimes) humble opinion, Peter Schreiner is a brilliant writer. Down and dirty ~ His reality bites, but damn . . . there’s a whole lotta message wrapped into the few, but oh-so-well crafted words he bleeds upon each page.
It is good to see others willing to promote his work. Thanks.
That sounds magnificent, I do love my food, and its always a pleasure to meet like minded folk who feel as I do about sentient life. smiles
Playground is the perfect term for here, and I’m glad to have you speak of Peter highly here or anywhere, he’s raised tears with his words before now, and with good reason. Pop over whenever you wish and sit a spell on the Cloud with me.
Cleverly written to say the least. To this I have only one thing to say: pass me some stuffing. 😀

Gotta say WordPress doesn’t think much of me because after it displayed my comment above it still shows ‘0 Thoughts on “Thanksgiving”‘. 😀
