Beware the Jubjub bird and shun The frumious Bandersnatch, Halargian World, I’m not good looking I’m not too smart I may be foolish but I’ve got a heart, Low flying tallywhackers, Sat on a cushion - looking crazee - in an Octopussy's garden - by the sea, The prance of the purple people eaters
Something for the winter now. Balaclavas with a difference. These curious creations are the work of Tracy Widdess under the banner ‘Brutal Knitting‘. I like the full costume ones, though do wonder at the itching issue, however my favourite would have to be a draw between the purple one with yellow dots on its eyes, and the brown one second from the bottom. One of the creatures has a woolly willy, and there’s a chap on what appears to be a cushion cover, who is running and has a flying willy. This tickles me. (Not the willies, the fact of their existence, don’t be rude, (unless it’s very amusing, then you can be as rude as you like)).
This is utterly brilliant Sonmi; I shall immediately investigate further at Tracy’s place. In the meantime, I have a little quiz for you. What film does this bit of brutal knitting depict?

Ha, The Exorcist! Briliant. You have set me off now, for here is my favourite superhero winks
I’m hoping that has worked, I have not added images to comments before.

Nicely toned abs; but who is it?

It is Hell Boy, and I highly recommend the films if you have not seen them. I’ll tell him of your admiration, he’ll be most chuffed smiles.

I gather he smells of dry-roasted peanuts; why is that?

We all have our vices………he smokes dry roasted peanuts.
Hariod, you must watch the video the President and Founder has just posted in my comments here. You will absolutely love it I’m sure!

That just blew me away. I mean quite seriously, that was so incredibly enjoyable for me I consider it a gift. Oh to see it all in real life……the masquerade room! And he describes his world so perfectly too. This earns you your own stool on the Cloud President and Founder, it really does, with your name on a brass plaque on the underside (one shouldn’t openly brag about these things). I’ll be doing a post on the artist and his work soon because I have to share this. Thank you sir curtsies low and adds a bow.
I like it.
Can you tell?

I had a sneaking feeling you might like it, and I am glad you do.
My own stool! What an honor. and a brass plaque! It’s all one could ever want (or hope for (what with the world being, well, you know, the way it is(such a state of affairs(but there’s always a little glimmer of light(or a stool))).

Keep it to yourself mind looks from left to right or everyone will want one. And they are a rarity.

I do believe I’ll enroll in a knitting class, well maybe not.
My favorites are the first and next to last.
I too am a Hell Boy fan. I like when he grinds down his horns. That seems so cool. I often find myself wishing–like now–for horns on my head to grind.

Good choices. I wince at him grinding his horns, but I am a delicate flower you know winks and laughs. As to angst and frustration I shall quote Kurt Vonnegut;
“Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward.”
