I’m embarrassed to say, and you may wonder how it is, but I’ve only just learned who Terry Pratchett was, is. But if you like him, then there most be not to dislike. And so, I’ll share your condolences.

Oh no, there are so many authors we can’t possibly know them all. I first read him when I was in my late teens and they are tomes I will always be able to pick up and disappear into, warm and funny, like the best kind of comfort blanket. If I were to suggest one, I’d actually go with the one he wrote with another of my favourite authors – Neil Gaiman – it is called ‘Good Omens’ and very wry. And thank you. I along with many others are deeply saddened by the news.
