Esme is aware that four pieces of the Cloud have definitely made it successfully to their intended recipients. Many hurrah’s have been exclaimed on the subject, at least two cartwheels, plus a fair amount of tail wagging (Rosie too). Should no such item appear upon the mat of your door by the 25th of this very month, despite you having divulged, nay exposed your particulars to her, she would like to know forthwith, fifthwith, or anywith at all. Thanking you kindly – bows, plays ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ on the spoons, then flys off again.
Rhapsody In Blue is my absolute favourite piece of music at the moment! I say ‘at the moment’ as I am a fickle beast and my favourite things change all the time. I’d love to hear the spoon version dances in anticipation

It’s superb isn’t it?! I know H is a fan too. It works at it’s finest late evening on a hot summer’s night** for me, but the door mat is out anytime really.
Lets’ have at it eh? – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cH2PH0auTUU

I just love it. And it’s Bernstein playing and conducting! Beautiful – I shall have this on loop all evening.
Lucy and esme in joyful repose!

One of the things I love about my birthday is I get Christmas cards too.
Which is why March is one of my favorite months of the year.

Your writing always brings a smile to me, and often a chuckle. Always feels good to come here. Thank you. Do you have a dog named Rosie? I had a Rosie for 14 1/2 love filled years.

That’s a lovely thing to say Mary, and I very much appreciate you saying so. – beams
Yes, I have fine girl indeed, and had another who left me last year after sixteen and a half years of just the same so we have another link there nods
Here’s Rosie, twice over –

She’s a sweetheart and sticks to me like glue. I could never be long without a dog.

Oh, yes yes of course! Thank you for taking me back there to her earliest days with you. I remember now. My Rosie ( Ro Ro, Rosie Posie Pumkin Pie (because she was reddish/golden), Romeister, Rosecrution….) died 3 years ago, and she sent me another precious one who showed up six weeks later…a scared little 6 week old puppy that showed up here with 2 siblings, who sadly we couldn’t keep – and now she is a tall lean, bryndle terrier/boxer/wolfhound/deer/horse looking whimsical loving creature. What would we do without our furry loves?

I do that with her name as well (and others too actually laughs). I’m so glad you have experienced so much in the way of four legged love (sounds a bit dodgy that when I read back, but you know what I mean gives the Prof and Swarn warning looks). Thanks for the visit Mary – beams

I have been anxiously and excitedly checking my mailbox every afternoon and nothing yet from the Union Jack side of the pond, but sometimes our U.S.P.S. can’t stop the horses from passing us! Maybe tomorrow. (tips his hat)

I danced giddily last night upon opening the post to discover a beautiful bird from the cloud, par avion! Your kindness is most appreciated:)

Hurrah! Glad to hear it – more-so that you like it too! ‘Par avion’ – I’ve always loved that. And you are very welcome, there must be light in the dark, and it’s been getting pretty dark of late on this world of ours. nods smiling

Scotties has a new gift in his ToyBox. Yes I am so happy. The flying monkeys came and gave their gift, managing to slide away into the sky without the cats even getting a hint of them having been here. Thank you wonderful lady of the clouds for this grand memento. Thank you. Hugs

Well now that’s great news! A piece of the Cloud is forever yours Scottie. Stay in esme’s good books and you might end up with a collection over the years winks laughing

I love it. I will gladly gain as much cloud as I can. Maybe some day I can float on those cloud pieces and join other enlightened clouds. That is such joy. Not sure how cats will react to cloud floating, but looking forward to teaching them. Love and hugs reaching to the uper part of our world. Hugs

Esme of the clouds,
The Rosie-Roo express has arrived, replete with stashes of beef jerky, six bottles of treacle, one sticky bun, and a handwriting so lovely it must have been nurtured on some cloud for a small though voluptuous eternity. Thank you, Esme (and Rosie). My life is now complete.

Awwwwwwwww. Hurrah!! I’m very pleased about this I can tell you sir! Bermuda no less! And it found its way to you as well! (gets a grip on the exclamation business)
“a handwriting so lovely it must have been nurtured on some cloud for a small though voluptuous eternity. Thank you, Esme (and Rosie). My life is now complete.” – You can stay as long as you like with that kind of talk I can tell you! (not that tight a grip clearly) – laughs and gives him an extra sticky bun on the side when no-one else is looking. Esme is very chuffed you liked your piece of the Cloud – nods and waves some inky fingers his way
ps – (the beef-jerkey is really a plant-based alternative, cunningly fashioned to resemble said jerky business, excellent quality stuff too. Only the best for such a Grand Wizard)

Sitting upon a cloud, Ariel is enjoying her beef jerky–sorry, rosemary/broccoli paste, whereas I, handwriting expert that I am, marvel at the exuberant ink before me (not cloudy but bold).

“I, handwriting expert that I am, marvel at the exuberant ink before me (not cloudy but bold)” – This is a great honour, and you are indeed an expert dear Propero, for esme won the ‘Best Handwriting of the Year’ award at school five years on the run. Five years! Truth be told, in the past few years, what with the advancement of technodoodads, my handwriting lost its shine and when I first began to write the cards out I found I needed to practice a great deal on scrap paper in order to not end up sending some kind of chicken’s foot semaphore message. I’m back to enjoying my handwriting endeavours once again now though, and must thank you for being one of the people who have led me to do so. shakes his hand and throws a hug in (no funny business, don’t call the cops yet)

Oh my my! I was prepared this very afternoon for the USPS horse-n-carriage upon my light quick-hoofed stallion — guess what color & his mane? — and lassoed me a “Felicitations” of some most peculiar Hooters!!! Hahahaha!!! (evil smile) This rodeo has caused quite a ruckus on this here range amongst the Cowpokers, both lads and lasses, inquiring HOW I — a humble unknown Texan — should know such a wonderful Madame in the Clouds of the U.K.!
My most fond appreciation Esme. You have made my holidays more stupendous!

Well I knew you of all people would appreciate a pair of hooters.
Hahahahahahaha.
I’m very happy to hear it flew its way safely to you, and that you likes it too sir – bows with a curtsy I think there’s only Africa to go now and then esme shall have straddled the globe upon her Cloud. – gives the Prof a warning look and points at the naughty chair where Hariod blows a raspberry back, he is of course, serving time for the usual

Hahahaha! Why am I not surprised by Hariod’s misbehavin’? Even I have the most strenuous efforts to divert and redirect his most well-crafted booby-traps… which I gladly admit are wonderfully temptatious morsels he places upon my table, even for MY refined deviousness! (smirk & wink at the Lady Esme)
He is a FINE partner-in-crime I say! Haha
However, when he is not around I find my time upon the Cloud here…umm, most relaxing and free of personal misdemeanors. (huge innocent grin)
