"What the?!", As the plot thickens it gives me the dickens, daft interlude, Decimus Tite Barnacle, Dick Swiveller, Gregarious Whim, Hiram Grewgious, I feel an earnest and humble desire- and shall till I die - to increase the stock of harmless cheerfulness., I have ten tickles for you, I never thought before that there was a woman in the world who could affect me so much by saying so little., In his kitchen it was the best of thymes-it was the worst of thymes, Something will come of this. I hope it mayn't be human gore., There are books of which the backs and covers are by far the best parts., Wackford Squeers, With affection beaming in one eye and calculation shining out of the other., You might- from your appearance -be the wife of Lucifer.
Of course in that life Esme was using her middle name – Estella. And my, what great expectations he had . . .
‘Out of my thoughts! You are part of my existence, part of myself. You have been in every line I have ever read, since I first came here, the rough common boy whose poor heart you wounded even then. You have been in every prospect I have ever seen since – on the river, on the sails of the ships, on the marshes, in the clouds, in the light, in the darkness, in the wind, in the woods, in the sea, in the streets. You have been the embodiment of every graceful fancy that my mind has ever become acquainted with. The stones of which the strongest London buildings are made are not more real, or more impossible to displace with your hands, than your presence and influence have been to me, there and everywhere, and will be. Estella, to the last hour of my life, you cannot choose but remain part of my character, part of the little good in me, part of the evil. But, in this separation, I associate you only with the good, and I will faithfully hold you to that always, for you must have done me far more good than harm, let me feel now what sharp distress I may. O God bless you, God forgive you!”
― Charles Dickens, Great Expectations 1861
Hehe… I love this, Esme/Estella!💙

Ha! Thank you Meher, I’m glad to have brightened your day with it. He was a highly comedic chap, a little intense, but enjoyed having his beard tugged.

So, there is another. I’m sure a long line of disappointment is in your wake of possible suitors. Am I alone in the turmoil of betrothed failings Estella? I think not. A song comes to mind 🎶 She’s blood, flesh and bones
No tucks or silicone
She’s touch smell sight taste and sound
But somehow I can’t believe that anything should happen
I know we’re right where I belong and nothing’s gonna happen, yeah
Cause she’s so high
High above me, she’s so lovely
She’s so high
Like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aphrodite
She’s so high
High above me
First class, fancy free, she’s high society
She’s got the best of everything
Why could a guy like me ever really offer?
She’s perfect as she can be, why should I even bother, ah ha
Cause she’s so high
High above me, she’s so lovely
She’s so high
Like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aphrodite
She’s so high
High above me
She comes to speak to me
I freeze immediately
Cause what she says sounds so unreal
Cause somehow I can’t believe that anything should happen
I know we’re right below and nothing’s gonna happen
Cause she’s so high
High above me, she’s so lovely
She’s so high
Like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aphrodite
She’s so high
High above me
She’s so high
High above me

‘I’m sure a long line of disappointment is in your wake of possible suitors. Am I alone in the turmoil of betrothed failings Estella? I think not.’ – Hahahahaha, well, when you’re around for a few hundred years such things cannot be avoided, as I told Menippus of Gadara when I chucked him off the Cloud for getting a bit handy of finger(s). Diotima of Mantinea was another story; Esme (known as Helene then) ultimately did a great deal to influence her work on platonic friendship and it’s vast benefits, whilst introducing Diotima to the joys of cheap beer.
I think the song fits well enough sir, thank you for the thought. Esme is high as a kite half the time, it helps with the altitude you know. – beams

In all the grandor, cheap beer finds its way into my heart once again. Plutonic of course, is a wonderful beer if you like the flavor. It is a favorite around these parts (and cheap) like me. You seem to be an ancient. How good was the beer in Dickens day anyway?

Estella, huh!? My, my, MY woman! You are indeed the world’s eighth wonder! Working her way up to first of course! 😉😍 I’m going to try and out-do Jim’s enamored attempts for your heart…
Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave
How can I love when I’m afraid to fall
But watching you stand alone
All of my doubt, suddenly goes away somehow
One step closer
I have died everyday, waiting for you
Darling, don’t be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more
Time stands still
Beauty in all she is
I will be brave
I will not let anything, take away
What’s standing in front of me
Every breath, every hour has come to this
One step closer
I have died everyday, waiting for you
Darling, don’t be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more
And all along I believed, I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me, I have loved you for a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more
One step closer
One step closer
I have died everyday, waiting for you
Darling, don’t be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more
And all along I believed, I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me, I have loved you for a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more
The Professor goes to one knee, places the hand on his heart, and lowers his hat to the Exquisite Madame, and winks at her with a most titillating grin

‘and winks at her with a most titillating grin’ – Now you know that was in the first paragraph of the restraining order Professor, so don’t push your luck.
Hahahahahaha. However, it is very kind of you to risk jail what with all the handcuffs and restrictions that you can’t bear normally, so I take your words and Christina’s, and thank you for the effort made, it’s always a pleasure to see you, and I know you’re busy with new wot-nots and settlings in at present, so twice the thank you proffered, Prof.

Mmmm, you know me well Madame. I do have a fondness and appetite for sticky buns, but not just any ordinary sticky buns though! I’m particularly drawn by Cloudy sticky buns! (gives a more cautious titillating grin)

“mine beauty marked and
if birthmarks are god’s touch then I’m fully
touched blessed be thy holy touch.” – In other words, he’s got freckles all on his dick.
I’m quoting the words from the link, and the writer interpreting his poems has me laughing. Is there enough poetry written about genitals one wonders? Upon reading the following I’d say . . .
“more like hers blows bright, redder.
organ veined, hung low
unless you’re cold.”
. . . yes.
Hahahahaha. Great link Mr Pink, interesting, poetry is each to their own and this chap certainly focuses on his own.

I find Dr Who highly entertaining at times, so concur. I enjoyed it when he met Vincent van Gogh very much too.

This was in my spam Robert! I do wish people wouldn’t hide there all furtive-like, hahahaha. Esme is quite evil, but not horribly so and she keeps that side for chucking people off the Cloud mostly.
Thank you for your patience sir.
