Darn. Missed the live coverage. I did watch the videos though. Had to mute them, I’m in a shared office. But, I am learning how to read lips and understand body language. The high-fives, hugs, wide smiles, and handshakes all tell me their mission was a success, as far as the actual lip reading, all I was able to come away with was, blah, blah, blah. However, I’m reasonably sure they had more to say than that.
I wonder, did they happen to mention if this “rock” is made of the same vegan cheese as the moon?
They did!! Success!! It’s like a Jules Verne novel! laughs. There was some ‘blah-ing’ but I think that was just strong accents hehe. I find it all very exciting as my exclamation marks may indicate. Composition-wise it seems to a kind of Vegan Brie in parts, Vegan mild cheddar in others but they say they need samples to nibble upon to be sure. The man on the moon has signed it on the back saying ‘Moon-man woz ere’ too. Duplicitous vandal that he is.

I played those two clips together, and found Vangelis’ music to be a great accompaniment to all of the reports of activity in the control rooms. A wonderful composition: thank you! 🙂
