"Do you know the last time she spoke to me was when Caligula burned the house down? Even then all she said was - “If you haven’t got a bucket- piss on it.”", “Beneath it his skin was milky white - serene and unlined - ready to begin anew - ready for the world to write upon it.”, You're squawking like a pink monkey bird And I'm busting up my brains for the words
“Poet, never chase the dream. Laugh yourself and turn away. Mask your hunger, let it seem small matter if he come or stay; But when he nestles in your hand at last, close up your fingers tight and hold him fast.” – Robert Graves
*This quote originates from the poem ‘A Pinch of Salt‘ and therefore some might question as to if it fits into the same cubby-hole as the other quotes on display – then again, a quote is a quote at the end of the day, the beginning of one, or midday mid-tiffin, for the definition is – , and I quote –
Perhaps the afflatus too deserves a short prelude before arriving refreshed upon the Cloud?

Oooo those high notes had my fingers raw, blistered, then later hardened as though rough heels upon sandstone. Beautiful. A prelude perhaps yes. smiles

Poets are very complicated creatures; just like writers. But not professors.

Oh yes, they’re all cryptic unfathomable nuts. That’s their draw. falls about laughing and adjusts the biscuit tin on her head.
Are all professors simple chaps/chapettes then do you think?

Except the professor: he’s a bit lesser. I’m a serial killer after all, remember.

I really enjoyed this poem. Printed it even. It’s starring at me, to the left.
it got me thinking; it made me smile, and then frown.
sometimes the idea of things are much more better than the actual thing, even though one may think they actually really want the actual thing and are not dreamers, but when in actual fact they are dreamers and dreamers they will always me 😦 🙂
does a smile and a frown equal neutral

Dreams are essential, reality also, but like a spinning top made of rainbows dreams are hard to catch, yet easy to touch, whilst reality is hard to the touch but easy to catch. We should take as much pleasure as we can from both realms within the limits of our present dimension. Sometimes they may even, for a fleeting time, merge as one. Seize the smiles and fly higher every now and again Jess. I command it. Just be sure to wear your sun cream and a tin foil hat – the sun is hot enough to burn if one is not careful.
Or so the Cloud said anyway. laughs.
As to the faces, the equal answer to your question is a frilly frile and a soulful srown or more precisely a visit to Hariod’s place where the balance of the turned up and turned down meet in a neither giddy, nor miserable line, but one that is for sure…straight as a die of awareness.

Yes they are, i dont even think i try to catch them, more expect them to wake me up in the morning, such expectations on rainbows is probably crude …
I will try to seize the smiles, yet fourlourn (is that even a word ?) frowns tinker on lip curls some of the times, i think they are more attention seekers than smiles
Yes the middle road, ah, (tings alfoil hat againt yours and goes ouch and then smiles 🙂 )
