Ah. Patience indeed. I like the keys. And the book pages. But what about the rest of the pages? Separated from their friends? Poor sad ripped up books? Concerned I am.
‘Fearlessly be yourself.’

Fear not, I collect old books and have a fair amount which are old and tatty, but still much loved and shall be kept just so – the ones I use are chunks of books that have no beginning or end, or middle or the like that I get from the book stalls I come across once in a blue moon, and ask them for the scraps. I feel it keeps a bit of them alive and loved still, using real book pages, rather than printouts, which lots of others do use.
‘Indeed’ – Hahahaha.

I find dogs are good for selective book dismantelment of pages. (Note it must be f and I that is the problem)

It would appear the F in wordpress problem has been resolved. I noticed others too having un ished words. I la ed. Or rather, laughed, not laffed. Clearly didn’t apply to your blog though with all those F ins. Discrimination. It’s everywhere.

I’m a special case though (no nuts involved). I’ll smite the bastards if they try any funny business with the Cloud. nods. I’m glad they sorted it out though, Hariod would have a blue fit if WP messed about with his grammar hahahaha.

I see you not only create word treasures, but real treasures! That’s a gorgeous thing. . it reminds me of some of the scrapbooking projects I see online. Did you make the box, as well?
Your creative genius knows no bounds. 🙂

Oh thank you Carmen, how lovely of you to say so beams a smile her way. I didn’t make the box no, though I have someone lined up who has asked about joining forces, he making the boxes, me decorating them, which may prove fruitful. The jewellery has been the main focus for some time, but I find myself wanting to stray into 3d items these days. And printing too, for I have a degree in fine prints and have managed to get a very small press recently, so I hope to be dusting down the brayer and printing designs onto the book pages and adding them to the boxes, or selling them as prints with cogs and all manner of odds and sods attached.
“Your creative genius knows no bounds. :)” – Well now that’s a highly happy and appreciated thing to come across in the comment section of an afternoon! Thank you. I enjoy creating hugely.

This is just gorgeous Esme!
There must be a trinket-craft shop nearby who know you by name and just get tickled pink when they see walk in! I’d imagine you stay for hours? (wink)
Have you enjoyed the finer parts of Steampunk long, if I may call it that?

There’s no trinket craft-shop for miles around actually, I collect old bits and pieces of broken jewellery and watch parts through word of mouth and on ebay usually. Not even close to being as romantic laughs. Old bookshops have me happiest so far as loitering for hours goes, the very smell of them is quite a lure!
I first became aware of it around four years ago, and found myself drawn to the images connected and the whole ‘H.G.Wells’ feeling of it all. I love the clothes, the expanse of ideas contained within, and the general anarchic vibe to it. (esme’s living room on the Cloud looks like an old curiosity shop, and is filled with ye olde oddities from all manner of places). I also enjoy wearing a top hat, which is handy. – laughs
Thank you for your kind words professor!

Mmmmm, a Lady in a top hat! Oh my. (imagination skips away with visions of the Lady Esmeralda-Exquisitess!…she snaps her fingers at Professor’s glazed eyes…)
“Professor? Professor! Hello, are we back?” the Lady asks.
Yes! And as bewitched as ever. (with a most charming grin)

‘The Clockwork Jewel’ is, of course, my spy name. And that is when I most often wear my top hat. Don’t tell anyone mind you – esme shushes generally

Thank you Jessie curtsies and bows real deep, I’m glad you like it! I’m keen on covering a much larger box in this kind of fashion, and keeping it for myself. One with small drawers on the front. Then I can have weird bits and bobs in the drawers and on the surface too.
