a cracking mash-up, a spud you'll like, baked hash - dude, boiled immaculate, I hear you gnocching, leeking poataoes, no hasselback at ya, what's taters precious?, when the chips are down
This year’s first bucket of potatoes – Kestrel no less! (There’s even a small sign – (it’s a sign I tell you, a sign!)
Grown upon the Cloud (not that easy what with Jack Frost and his mischief-making I can tell you).
Now, firstly a link to a fine post that tickled esme and fits in here perfectly, do go and have a gander, click on the title below points. –
REJECT A DAY iv – by Brightonsauce
Then, after having taken such fine flavours in…try this on your plate misses/mister/oi you!
Boil ’em, mash’em, stick ’em in a stew.
Couldn’t face the link. Oozing jealousy. Show off!

Thank you, we do aim to please here on the Cloud – winks and curtsies, (at the same time no less!)
“Those are damn fine taters!”
They bloody are as well. Hahahaha. They just need to be good taters now and stay dry (not too dry mind) in their sacks. nods

Your tubers do look mightily impressive, I must say, and you lifted them yourself; is that right, Esme? I understand that impressive quantitties of zinc can gather on their surface: http://www.dietandfitnesstoday.com/zinc-in-potatoes.php Anyway, quite magnificent, and I would be more than happy to be served a couple of those on a regular basis. 🙂

Thank you and yes, I lifted and toted and hoisted that bucket and out they fell. It almost as if they’d grown there! – laughs
Zinc eh?. . . zinc. Uh-huh. – wags several fingers as one may not be enough
They taste magnificent H, the difference between your basic cheap white spud from the supermarket, and home grown taters is immense. You get to be a bit of a connoisseur, and indeed I am just that when it comes to chippy chips. If they use good potatoes, by the Gods it makes a difference!

How bout a couple of little ones, Hariod? I can ring you, possibly?

That would be okay, Matty, though I’d have to pop a banger between them. Esme’s keen on vegan bangers, she once revealed, so I may have to fob her off on that front. Have you ever fobbed her off?
