Afloat and adrift, Before you became a cloud you were an ocean-roiled and murmuring like a mouth, breathe, Esme says, In the moment, Rest a while, Sea glass, The sky opens in a breath- shuts in a heartbeat.
Find a moment.
Stop.
Sit.
Breathe in, count to three, then exhale and recognise that’s what you are doing.
Start the music below.
Then go to this place – SILK. – and allow patterns to emerge as they wish.
Victoria has added the link to her piece in the comment section, do join in and show us all the inside of your own brainbox – nods a great deal
Esme’s creation – http://r.weavesilk.com/?v=4&id=zvw1rjbiu1q
(Do not stop breathing at any point.)
That was fun. Here’s my 7 second masterpiece. Lol
Liked the tune. That version has less orchestration than the one I remember from my childhood.

Oh! Brilliant! I didn’t think of that, I hope other people link to theirs too – nods a lot.
I would have linked to the youtube version of the full orchestrated piece, but it filled the page up with a big picture of him on a beach and rather ruined the ‘zen’ look I was going for – laughs Thanks for that Victoria, lovely to see you.

“but it filled the page up with a big picture of him on a beach and rather ruined the ‘zen’ look I was going for –
A perfectly legit explanation. Lol I liked both versions. I will definitely play around with Silk again, and I think instrumental music is a pleasant accompaniment.

Now that was refreshing and fun! Thanks Esme.
… Val wondering if she should pay $2.99 for clearly addictive app, or come back later to use Esme’s link again…

Good! But no, don’t part with cash for it, just return on a whim occasionally.

Val, on another note – are you familiar with the Ambiscience app? It is amazing music tuned into the body’s vital systems among other things (it takes a bit of getting used to in order to value all the app has to give). Amazing stuff, courtesy of our longtime acupuncturist 😉

I must check it out Bela! That sounds like a really bright idea 💡 xo

Haha, yes. I bet you’ll love it. Ahh, looking at the app now – they’ve done some updating since last I used it – there’s an italic “i” in the upper rt. hand corner – click on that and it will reveal much. Also there’s a musical note glyph in the upper left after they asked me, upon opening, to access my music. So I’m suspecting now you can choose your own music as well for their effects to manipulate. Anyhow, I’ve experienced the meditation and organ system clearing functions during acupuncture and had some incredible visual stuff. Do let me know if you find it and/or love it, whatever – if you’d like! ❤

So addictive. I have zero room left on the iPad for a new toy, but I could play with this for hours.

It’s nice isn’t it? I’d like more depth of colour, but there’s no pleasing some folk, and I’m not paying for anything – laughs
I think it’s a great tool to relax with – instant beautiful creations. You could grab the image and make your own cards, with your legit, own artwork on I reckon.

I love it, thank you thank you. I got clicking on the one you did and saw some more you did. I then went to the silk link. I spent a lot of time just day dreaming and creating things that looked like things to me. ( the cats were not so sure 😦 ] Thanks for the distracting fun. Hugs

Wow, Tubularsock bumped into Timothy Leary on his journey and he’s still doing fine.
(Tubularsock tips his hat to Esme as he turns into a butterfly) Peace.

I’d like to get that software on my PC but it only seems to be an Apple thing, yes?
LikeLiked by 1 person
I think so, but for your PC you don’t need the software, it would only be extra clutter to download, just bookmark the page and return to it at will (poor lad). That’s what I do. You can save any pictures you want from there, so there’s no benefit that I can see from doing owt else.

What’s this business about music in relation to it?

Well if you read the post — points to the letters part slowly with a long stick — you’ll find I say that one should play the music below whilst creating.

Hariod I love the one you did. I managed a few squibbles, you made a masterpiece. You got the colors to complement each other, the design draws you into the center which explodes out in radiance. I love it. Hugs

Oh Scottie, that had nothing to do with me, or rather with my consciousness. I did two trial runs and then that came out, but after the two trial runs I did just twig that tiny little gestures can be used to decent effect. I daresay very rapid gestures can be too. Lovely to bump into you Scottie, as always. H ❤

Holy Cow, I didn’t even see this! But, in my defense I have spent the last indeterminate amount of time worshiping with my fellow congregants. We’ve made some real progress on the whole ‘meaning of life’ thing, while still finding time to best each other’s pinball scores. We will definitely be knocking on your door to let you know all about it as soon as we print up some tracts.
Right now though I’m gonna go interact with some art

I look forward to your visit! None of that ‘can I introduce you to cheesus?‘ business though, Esme runs a vegan Cloud. Sandals are allowed mind you, just not with socks. (You have to draw the line somewhere – draws one down the middle of his face with a black eyeliner pencil and adds a huge beauty spot on one cheek and a curly moustache whilst in the area)
“Right now though I’m gonna go interact with some art” – I do hope that’s not a euphemism sir.

Playing the music and drawing with Silk makes a wonderful treat! Lots of fun. Thank you for sharing! I also really enjoyed the words, “Afloat and adrift, Before you became a cloud you were an ocean-roiled and murmuring like a mouth…”

You are very welcome Niried – smiles. I’m pleased you enjoyed the slide sideways into something wonderful for a while. The words are from this poem by Sandra Cisneros, I nicked them!
Before you became a cloud, you were an ocean, roiled and
murmuring like a mouth. You were the shadow of a cloud
crossing over a field of tulips. You were the tears of a
man who cried into a plaid handkerchief. You were a sky
without a hat. Your heart puffed and flowered like sheets
drying on a line.
And when you were a tree, you listened to trees and the tree
things trees told you. You were the wind in the wheels of a
red bicycle. You were the spidery Maria tattooed on the
hairless arm of a boy in downtown Houston. You were the
rain rolling off the waxy leaves of a magnolia tree. A lock
of straw-colored hair wedged between the mottled pages of a
Victor Hugo novel. A crescent of soap. A spider the color
of a finger nail. The black nets beneath the sea of olive
trees. A skein of blue wool. A tea saucer wrapped in
newspaper. An empty cracker tin. A bowl of blueberries in
heavy cream. White wine in a green-stemmed glass.
And when you opened your wings to wind, across the
punched-tin sky above a prison courtyard, those condemned to
death and those condemned to life watched how smooth and
sweet a white cloud glides.

Oh my, thank you for sharing that poem with me! And before you were a cloud,
you were:
elephants laughing while crossing the sea,
and you were turtles laying soft eggs in the warm sands.
And you were crisp apples filled with rain, and falling down on Newton’s head.
And once you became a cloud…
I remembered you were always my friend.
