Thank you Scottie, my fingers were keen to show their pads, but printing ink is the very devil to get off nails and the grime was distracting from the music I felt.
Esme happy to make Scottie smile and hugging him back upon the Cloud
I got my card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have received your card !! Hot doggedy dang ❤ 🙂 ❤ . I won’t describe the depth of its dearness since that would constitute a surprise dasher for those who have not yet received it. ’twas the only envelope in the post with “Royal Mail” in the upper right corner, so my mind-media played back some G.F. Handel — Music for the Royal Fireworks :-). Your work now graces the mantelshelf: a meter or so from me keyboard 🙂
Edith Piaf set the mood. Yes, an Edith Piaf mood is always perfect.
Hurray!! All that way by Cloud Mail too, by the Gods I’m pleased you like it so much and ’tis dear to you. It’s Royal because I am an empress of course – nods with a paper crown on that is clearly too large for her – I’m glad you got the Piaf link too, not everyone will, but even if they don’t it isn’t long enough to bore folks I think/hope.
Esmeradla Cloud – Empress of the Known and Unknown and Once visited with an aunt but never really talked to Universes waving grandly at Bill and Lisa
Should I make the obvious joke, Esme? No, perhaps not. You sustain a relentless and admirable rhythm, though. And black gloves . . . black gloves, no less. Ooh la la, as the Italians say.
I know I’ll be sorry I asked . . . what’s the joke? – hovers over the censor button
I have red gloves too, but they were too gaudy, what you can’t see are the three cogs up to each elbow, they are ruched with diamond cutouts, a little overly fancy for the occasion, but also quite fitting, even if only I could see them.
Rhythm like that takes some patience, of which I have none, so it must come naturally to me. Spoon players have the best natural rhythm in the galaxy, barring the Dancing Begonias of Kepel of course.
Nice tune, you can’t beat this one for Ooh La La though:
Thank you for your contribution Hariod – beams x
Esme Cloud wearing a trouser-suit with impressive flairs with flair.
Great video! I love the sneer at 1:37 and the drummer chewing gum at his (anachronistic) white Simmons. [Spots her looking very puzzled.] Bolan’s estate should get royalties, though — knackered anachronisms aside. [Hello Bill Ziegler!]
“What’s the joke?” she says. I geddit — butter wouldn’t melt an’ all that. Yeah right; you ain’t kiddin’ no one sister. Cranks for the memories. [Hand cranks his shiny Austin Seven and drives off with a big smile on his face, courtesy of Esme.]
It is, I’d like to see them live, they’re a cracking act.
I didn’t connect hand crank with the obvious. I really didn’t, but I do find it has high snickerage as connections go, so well done that (seedy) man hahahahaha.
Thank you for the cranking video Hariod. It is much as expected.
Esme Cloud falling about for some time at this – ‘Cranks for the memories‘
Hello Hariod, Thank you muchalot for the call-out, I am indeed a friend of anachronism, synergism and synchronicity — not to mention ephemera, particularly radio ephemera, had I not just mentioned it 🙂
I was thinking, with you in mind, of the alliterative ‘knackered anachronisms’, dear Bill. But wait! I’m not referring to you (more likely me, if either of us is knackered) but merely your penchant for alliteration generally. I’ve never heard of Radio Ephemera; which frequency does it broadcast on?
Hello Hariod, I meant “Thank you muchalot for referring to me“. No call-out implied. I also much like ‘knackered anachronism’ and will place it in my virtual library under K and also under A. PRX International is a great source for radio ephemera. Here is a 3 minute piece, a personal favorite too 🙂 https://beta.prx.org/stories/62217
What a beautiful little piece of music as I dance in joy for having received a cloud gift from over the big blue sea. What a beautiful and happy card and I am forever thankful. My first piece of mail ever from the UK, and I think by the stamp the Queen sent it. I didn’t realize you were a queen, but perhaps you’ve been hiding yourself in the clouds so we wouldn’t know. Well I am a thankful little bumpkin over here in sunny Florida and so tickled with joy. I loooooooooove it Queen Esme, truly and completely ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
My favourite zip! Hahahaha, that’s great news, I’m so pleased, all the more-so to have been your first UK based delivery. I’m an Empress actually, however the Queen has all Esme’s stamps specially made for her, I then reward her with home made chutney and copy of the comic named Viz. I am doing a small jig with happiness at this news my dear bumpkin, enjoy that sun for me won’t you!

Esme and her zippy bumpkin dancing happily upon the Cloud
and what does one do with Chutney? I have a jar of homemade gifted to me as the hostess with the mostess but still have to find a use for it. Won’t open it up till ready to use….although I’m finding lots of uses lately for Lemon Curd (a new favorite flavor for the Zip) mmmmmm……dancing still ❤
Ah, one has a teaspoonful or more on a plate with curry, they go together superbly. It also goes incredibly well with hommous on crackers or bread. It’s nice to have with barbequed food too. It will last in the jar for years, and even once opened can go on just fine for many months!
Lemon curd can be nice, though it isn’t a favourite of mine I’ll admit. Lemon drizzle cake is though!
Esme waving at a kindred hostess with the mostest upon the Cloud whilst dancing away ❤
Esme is very wicked. There’s no help for her now – beams happily
You received yours too! Marvellous Val, ’tis possible they are all a tad early, but I was determined none arrived after the 25th of December this year, and overseas post can be a real bugger on that score.
The song is hilarious, hahahahaha, and yes, I’m soley the finest cranker in the village I’d say.
This put me into an Esme-trance, a state of bewilderment, and a deep, deep, DEEEEEEEP cavernous desire to go sneakily up to The Cloud seeking adoration, trickery and trouble! (wink with a plenteous beguiling grin from ear to ear!)
Adoration. You don’t want much do you? – falls about
Esme only adores the Moon and the Stars, and that’s only when they shine brightly her way and light her up just so, however she is very fond of the Professor, big ole nut job that he is.
Hahahahahaha.
I think as comments go things could have ended up with far more censoring than occurred, what with the gloves being there an all, so well done Prof.
Btw my dear wonderful Esme, I received my Xmas card. It is simply delightful and brings me and mine much cheer! Thank you! My sister is an (amateur) artist and she was thoroughly impressed by your talent. You’ve won all our hearts! 💝😍
That’s so good to hear sir! I love knowing my inky endeavours have reached fine folks so far away, and all the more-so when they appreciate the effort and like what they’ve been given. I hope the ink is dry now, it wasn’t when it was sent out hahahahaha. This is true. But it’s a matt finish and would take a poke and smear to move it around. – * esme is sorry she wrote that last sentence now*.
Thank you for telling me Professor, and thank you very kind sister too! ❤ in return ❤
Nice linkage to the link regarding Esme’s link masodo, and you’re my first subscriber too! Thank you. I’ve been meaning to add video footage of sorts to the Cloud, so something else may appear anon. You never know. – beams Or rather you will know, because you’ve subscribed hahahaha.
Esme beaming out to the world in a variety of guises from upon the Cloud
It is the first day of December and it is SnOwiNg through the etherean esmal clouds!!! Wow, it is even snowing its way through this comment area. And ’tis possible to change the direction of the snowfall, in a cursory way of course 🙂 ❤ 🙂
I didn’t know that times two Bill. ish they’d give an option for hailstone and drizzle, it only seems fair, though shooting stars would be the most splendiferous effect methinks!
Esme making snow angels with Rosie-roo and waving at Bill from upon the Cloud
Music to my ears, and joy for my heart. Hugs
