Cloud mists make absolutely fantastic dancing surfaces, every day of the year. We are right here while the big ball drops at Times Square. Perfectly happy not to be there, but glad to be in NYC and are hoping that you are adjusting to 2022. Sounds like an ominous date in some futuristic SciFi fare.
Thank you for the music and the dance videos. 🙂
Grateful for living in a post-Trump era and wish him obscurity in full measure.
2022, 2023, twenty anything is sci-fi for this Cloud dancer Bill, I’m still entrenched in ninteen-tumpty-tum, so today is always the future in silver foil onesies and deely-boppers (I have been sporting deely boppers this very Christmas). It’s better post Trumpet-face, but I suspect he’ll get back in, or one of his moulded in wax minions shall, but there’s time for that and I very much want to be proven wrong. May everyone’s ball have dropped at just the right moment! Hahahahaha, HNY in NYC dear Bill.
Hoping that t disappears into obscurity and all t paraphernalia obscuritise with him. To be replaced with deely boppers and deely dancers. Lisa and I were watching the Great Kiwi Baking Show on the telly when the ball dropped. We tune in to the Canadian version and the NZ bakers as we wait until the new season in the white tents returns later this year — 2022, I think would be the present year — with Paul, Prue, Noel, Matt, and all intrepid bakers.
Perhaps deely boppers among the bakers 🙂
We can’t get enough of that show, each baker has their own personalities and character types. Giuseppe was the only one to kiss Mr. Spatula’s head, Noel wields just such power. I like how he natters on contestants as they bake under time restraints. Each time the camera finds a cute animal on the grounds for focus, we invariably hit the rewind button for a second viewing 🙂
We also enjoy how Noel shares disdain for the blue-eyed monster played by Paul Hollywood. The clip with Yan — priceless Noel. He also has a taste for the fine in shirt selection.
Grand stuff indeed!
You were in my Spam Bill! Vegan Spam of course. We must have been watching the series at the same time, I noted that about Giuseppe too! Hahahahahaha. I was surprised Jürgen went out when he did and of course you’ll have noted the first vegan contestant! She was lovely and did superbly well. Time was the judges would have scowled at the very idea, but now the penny is dropping about saving their own skins things are moving on somewhat generally in the right direction. Noel’s shirts and jumpers are something else. I first saw him in an abstract show called The Mighty Boosch, it’s very off the wall and I loved it.
I hope alls well in your world dearie.
Esme, Mr Spatula and Bill sat upon the Cloud throwing peanuts at Paul Hollywood
Vegan Spam is wonderful stuff, as is Noel Fielding in all his incarnations such as The Mighty Boosch. I quite enjoyed that bit you included and am going to search for more this evening. Lisa is also a convicted fan of Mr. Fielding.
Giuseppe was also the last to know when named Chef of the Year, or whatever it is called. I enjoyed how Giuseppe simply kissed Mr. Spatula without saying a word. A true sport and Mighty trooper. Another favorite line from Noel regarding the time remaining: “We are just waiting for the blue-eyed monster to come and kill us all” or words to that effect. We are presently waiting for GBBS to return, the Canadian version, and are now completing our viewing of all the Great Kiwi Baking Show. Each is very similar to GBBS, but lack any comedians, not to mention of the caliber of the iniimitable Noel.
All fares well in this realm on the left side of the Atlantic Lake. Not it’s back to creating some vegan spam dishes. 🙂
‘Lisa is also a convicted fan of Mr. Fielding.’ – The kind he likes the best! Hahahahaha. Yes, try the Boosch out I think both your sense of humours will love it. The Canadian version needs comedians, all baking needs comedians really beams
Esme pleased to hear all is well! Sending love and extra vegan spam from the Cloud

Esme waving almost entirely sure what’s going on upon the Cloud
Why am I having these joyous rumblings in my lowest and lower torso with so much happiness STIRRING & GURGELING about listening to this fine beat (beating?) of an arrangement of notes? And with fine teenage memories of a show my Dad and I would watch religiously on PBS Public TV…
The Benny Hill Show! Woot woot! Happy New Year Esme & to every one of you wonderful Weirdos upon the Cloud! 😁
Umm, I’m afraid that if I repeat what my fine Urologist told me was this ground-shaking and female wooing was about… I’d incriminate myself! Ya know, doctor-patient confidentiality. 😉
lmao – it’s been so long I’ve forgotten! Pretty sure I never knew any who could do the Can Can. 😀

I’m a huge fan of Noel, he’s very funny, so is Matt, but noel cracks me up.
I’m pleased you’re watching it, very soothing stuff, does make me want to eat cakes every time mind you.
