Hi Esme! I absolutely love this excerpt from the incomparable Franz. What a spellbinding dream sequence. It makes me want to delve into Kafka’s oeuvre for more fascinating sleep experiences. There must be more such great stuff in that fantastic oeuvre.
His best-known account of a transition “zu einem ungeheueren Ungeziefer” cautions us on the hazards of awakening, does it not? So I need to find out. And if I do, I shall let you know.
Thank you for posting such wonderful stuff, Esme! Good weather to you 🙂

Hello my dear Bill! His oeuvre is smoother and quite the mover I reckon. And no-one wants to wake up in that state, no falls about.
Good weather and good health to you both x
